you have selected russian or standard technique.

What are dermal fillers?

Filler are made of Hyaluronic Acid. A water loving molecule that
binds up to 400 x its weight in water. It works like a sponge and
fills up with water upon injection.

How long do fillers last?

Fillers do not last a set time, on some people they can last up to 1 month and on others they can last up to 18+ months. There is several factors that contribute to the break down of HA which you can’t control e.g. your metabolism and there is some factors we can try to control e.g your lifestyle and water intake. If your a first timer we always recommend having a top up in 8-12 weeks (if needed sometimes sooner and sometimes not needed at all). For most people, the only way you will get long lasting filler is by being consistent with it although some people can be lucky and
their filler breaks down slowly. Please be patient and expect to visit for top ups over the first year to build a base. Sometimes if your finding a certain brand is not lasting the length you want it to, it is suggested to change to an alternative brand and see how long that lasts on you.

Does it hurt?

A pre numb will be used for 10 minutes prior to the procedure to help minimise any initial discomfort. The injection itself also contains lidocaine (numb) within the product to ease pain of injection, however yes, you will feel some discount while being injected as we are injecting you with a needle.

What filler is the best?

Every filler is designed for a certain area and has several different properties for example, in the lips a dermal filler with a high elasticity will be used like, Revolax Deep, Juvederm Ultra Smile, Teyosal Kiss and Restylane Kysse. For areas like the cheeks/chin/nose& jaw, a filler with more structure is used, one that doesn’t move as much and can be built on top of its self like Revolax Sub Q, Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Ultra 4. For Tear trough there is only one licensed dermal filler in the UK which is Teyosal Redensity 2, this is because it absorbs water at a much slower pace so doesn’t create bags and lumps due to the skin being so thin under the eye, this filler also doesn’t give the Tyndall effect which every other filler currently on the market would.

How long does it take to recover from your treatments?

Please allow up to 14 days for swelling or bruising to go down, for rhinoplasty please allow 21 days for all swelling and bruising to go down. You must be patient with your healing, if your body heals slow when you go through some trauma whether it is a bruise, cut or an operation you will also heal slow when you get an injectable treatment.

Can I fly after my treatment?

We advise all clients to wait a minimum of 72 hours before flying. It is very rare for complications to occur however in theses circumstances you would need to return to the clinic for an emergency reversal protocol. Please also note that the pressure on the plane can also increase your swelling.

I can no longer attend, can I reschedule?
